statement

Someone once told me, that if we went back to our childhood we would most likely find out what we originally wanted to be when we grew up.

I always thought my interest in photography started in my 20ʼs. It was only after I went through some old family photo albums, that I discovered pictures of the family pets that I had taken as a child. Most of the frames look like memorial portraits of our dog and cats, with carnations and ribbons in matching colors decorating their stiff staged bodies. Of course, they were all very much alive!!!

I was amused and amazed to discover that my passion in creating a different reality with a camera, started long before I made a clear decision to become a photographer.

My love for creating images that reflect the mirroring of parallel realities started then and continues still.
